Install specdox from APT

Current product line 1.0.0 on therelease channel. Public Aurora mirrorhttps://apt.auroratech.ai — no pull token. Architecture: amd64.

SpecDox is proprietary commercial software. Read the Software Licence and Terms of Service before installing. Public package access does not grant unrestricted redistribution or paid feature rights.

Install

Four commands on Debian or Ubuntu

Replace CODENAME with your host suite (trixie, bookworm, noble, jammy, ...). This mirror needs no pull token: it is Aurora packaging.

  1. 1. Import the signing key

    curl -fsSL https://apt.auroratech.ai/aurora.asc | sudo gpg --dearmor -o /usr/share/keyrings/aurora-archive-keyring.gpg

  2. 2. Add the APT source

    echo 'deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/aurora-archive-keyring.gpg] https://apt.auroratech.ai CODENAME main' | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/aurora.list

    Line shape: deb [arch=amd64 signed-by=/usr/share/keyrings/aurora-archive-keyring.gpg] https://apt.auroratech.ai $(. /etc/os-release && echo "$VERSION_CODENAME") main

  3. 3. Install the package

    sudo apt update && sudo apt install specdox

  4. 4. Configure and open SpecDox

    Set directives in /etc/specdox/specdox.env, then start the service or run the binary. Full Help ships in the UI.

Note

Public mirror, local checkouts

apt.auroratech.ai serves the specdox host package. After install, you register project repositories on the machine that holds the documentation.

If the host cannot reach the mirror, contact Aurora.
